Give Yourself Time For Change

In this episode, I share things I have been going through in my transition into a new area and things that might help others going through the same thing.  Give yourself time for change. There are things to look for and be sensitive of in yourself while going through the changes to find your own space in your new world.

I have included my health update and what has been happening to me both physically and mentally.

Social Media – The Positive Rather Than The Negative

In this episode, I am discussing social media and the positive overcoming the negative by taking steps to keep the positive rather than the negative on your page and what you see on a daily basis. I am a couple of weeks late in getting my podcast episode out, and for this, my dear listeners, I apologize.  I had my things from the states show up and then had technical difficulties in getting my podcast edited and uploaded.  But all is good now and I hope you enjoy this week’s podcast.

I have included my health update and what has been happening to me in the last week with my knee and weight.

Things That Helped Me Through

In this episode, I share some things that helped me through some hard times in the last few years as well as through the pandemic.  I hope this helps those of you that have been struggling as I did, with some possible outlets to use and to just let you know you are not in this alone.  Also, I ask if any of my listeners have any suggestions to add, please do so.

I have included my health update and what has been happening to me in the last week with the chiropractor visit and weight.

Living Life To The Fullest

In this episode, I talk about the changes I have gone through in the past few years, understanding myself and others in my growth during that time.  I have realized how we need to be living life to the fullest and not take anything nor anyone for granted.  I am so grateful for the things I have done and the people I have in my life.  Thank you for letting me share with you!

The In Between Time

This is the in-between time of my podcast. I have taken a few weeks off to make a move and change some things in my life. I am on a journey by moving to London on a fiancé visa. (We met during the time I was going through my separation and divorce and our relationship has grown so much since then!) Some have said that I am adventurous by doing this and others have said I am brave. I say I am doing something my heart will be happy with as well as giving myself a chance at something new. I see it as living my life to the fullest and not having regrets. We are constantly learning by doing or putting into action.

So, here I am with my kitty Angel, having moved “across the pond” to live a new life. The rest of my family in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina, with a few more scattered about, expect me back of course. Our plan is for me to go home three to four times a year to see my family, as well as us to see more of the states. I have my grandchildren there and he has his here, so there is no way to not be traveling back and forth! We are both very blessed.

On another note, once I start my podcast back up I will be back on track getting it out weekly with either my own solo episodes or those with interviews. Your support, dear listener means so much! I can’t wait to be back! Until then, have a great week and remember to say Hi to those you come in contact with and always look for something nice to say!

Love you all!

Dawn xoxo

My Fun Multitalented Guests Beth & Josh

In this episode, I update you briefly on my health update to start us off.  I then let you know that my interview this week is a lengthy but fun one and the audio is not quite the normal great audio I usually have available to you.  I am a bit in the background but you can hear my guest very well! We talk about things from how they first met, what they do for a living and what their future plans are.  All a lot of fun with laughs and jokes.  I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

Supporting Friends

In today’s episode, I talk about supporting art friends and how I do this by collecting their art slowly and as I can.  I discuss how this makes me happy and how it also makes them happy because I am showing my support.  I then share some sad news about a friend of the family and how it affected me. I then share how it made me feel today, which has me sharing some words of advise.

I did not mention my Health Journey this week but will get back to that next week as well!

What Brings You Joy?

In this episode, I begin with an update on my health journey.

I then go into the episode  by me telling you about a podcast called The Daily Podcast with the title of The Amateur Cloud Society That (Sort Of) Rattled The Scientific Community. The story is of Gavin Pretor-Pinney,  his Cloud Appreciation Society, his joy in clouds and the part he would end up playing in influencing the science community and the 2014 Atlas regarding the clouds.

I then share a list of Fifty Ways to Add Joy to your Day on Psychology Today’s website written by Carolyn Rubenstein, PH. D.  She says she does this to shift her mindset for the day by committing to doing one joyful thing on the list each day.  I think it is such a great idea and I give a few ideas of my own! There are so many things that can give us joy.

Live In The Moment

In this episode, I discuss my Health Journey plans as I talked about in my last episode as well as today’s topic of living in the moment and not looking ahead so much.  We spend so much time worrying about what is next and the future when there is so much to enjoy right now, in this moment and in this day. We need to take advantage of the moment, the here and now.
